According to this tweet by Matias Strozyk, Ales Hemsky (and others) are leaving Pardubice for North America. Hemmer was humming in the Czech league (14-18-32 in 27gp) and there are no obvious reasons for his departure or that of David Krejci and Jakub Kindl. Strozyk is part of “Elite Prospects” and a credible media source.

Details are sketchy (always wanted to say that) but we’ll follow the story.

Some legal issues? Or maybe they are ‘returning’ for the holidays?

I think its probably just coming back to make sure the season is dead before starting the second half of the year. Its certainly worked out well for Hemsky.

Interesting, LT. And I think the words you are looking for are “more to come”. 😉

The fact that he’s coming home with Kindl and Krejci gives me the impression that this is something an agent suggested via the PA.

The agents will be the first to know if pa is going to fold.

Maybe the vote wasn’t quite as overwhelming as leaked.

Well, except for the “no fucking NHL” part.

They’re coming home to be with their families here for the holidays. This was probably negotiated well in advance. Don’t get your hopes up.

I heard that it was because his insurance expired…
