Semenov back in the NHL
Alexei Semenov is back in the NHL. He’s playing for the San Jose Sharks tonight against Calgary. So far he’s played about 6:30 minutes in the first period and got into a fight with Eric Godard that looked like an overmatch but ended with Semenov helping the Flame into the SJS bench.
Yeah, he acquitted himself OK there, on both counts (fight and general play).
Good for him.
Giant Russian who never really had much of a shot with the Oilers…yeah that sounds familiar. Semenov is Alexi Mikhnov, only one chapter ahead.
