So, I guess this means they are almost as good as the Oilers now… right?

  2. HBomb says:

Pittsburgh goes into this series with two of the best five players in the world.

However, Detroit has one of those as well (Lidstrom), potentially another guy I’d argue in the top five (Zetterberg), and then another two guys in the top dozen (Datsyuk, Hossa).

I’ll bet on depth any day of the week. Assuming a healthy Lidstrom and Datsyuk, I see a repeat of last year – Wings in six.

Oh, and “The Mule” wins the Conn Smythe.

The league announced the schedule tonight-Saturday start with a 2 day break.

Gerta: The americans ran accross the putting line and should have forfeit the hole.

But the British showed more class!

At least it is a hell of an interesting series (or looks to be), and thats a good thing.

I still can’t get over those gawd awful shirts the americans were forced wear…

  7. DBO says:

plante signed a three year entry level deal. At least we add some size in Springfield.

It’ll be interesting to see if Detroit can keep the train rolling long enough to put them in sole possession of number two on this list.
