I wanted to write a quick note of congratulations to you on a wonderful career. I can tell you that one of the toughest days for me as an Oiler fan came the day you left this city.
Any fool can tell that you didn’t win any Stanley’s in Edmonton (they all came when you got to Toronto based on the television coverage) but you were splendid as an Oiler and I cheered for you all down the line. You were a champion here, and we have those incredible playoff memories to offer as proof of it.
We miss you, Curtis. All the best.
