Draft Week 2010 Post #10: Moving Day

We know the list of hockey players the Edmonton Oilers would like to unload this weekend. Sheldon Souray; Ethan Moreau; Robert Nilsson; Patrick O’Sullivan and on it goes.

Last season, Steve Tambellini waited on Dany Heatley and watched the world go by. This season, he has already added a player (to replace Kyle Brodziak, dealt a year ago) in the deal trade early this morning for Colin Fraser.

Rumors tonight that the Oilers are trying to move up to #15, likely in an effort to select Dylan McIlrath. That might not be enough to get the big defender, but its in the neighborhood.

Trade chips include the men listed above; Andrew Cogliano; Riley Nash; Dubnyk or Deslauriers. It going to be a helluva weekend.
