Souray Clears Waivers

Word this morning that Sheldon Souray has cleared waivers. The Oilers placed him on waivers in the hopes that someone would grab him, but it was a long shot. As the summer rolls along and fewer UFA, RFA and trade options are available to teams Souray should become more attractive.

I think Dallas is a good option. They don’t seem to know what they’re doing, Charlie Huddy (a Stars coach) definitely “saw him good” and Dallas has been shopping Mike Ribeiro and his $5M contract this summer.
