Oilers sign Yann Danis

Details here. Or at least confirmation. I expect this signing is an OKC move, with Danis offering the team depth in case either starter Devan Dubnyk or backup Nikolai Khabibulin are injured or slump. At the wonderful NJ blog IN LOU WE TRUST, the group talked about Danis who was a free agent one year ago (before signing in the KHL).

John Fischer, ILWT: A Quick Opinion: Danis didn’t play all that much, but he was serviceable when he came in for relief or in spot duty as a starter.  If he sticks around, I wouldn’t mind. 

I think this is 11-12′s Gerber. I’d also guess the Oilers aren’t completely set in goal.
