I got into an interesting conversation today with a friend. The discussion surrounded what the Oilers might want in return for Ales Hemsky. I’ve operated under the assumption that Hemsky leaving would mean the Oilers getting an established defender in return.

My buddy suggests the Oilers badly need a power forward, or at least a forward with size to add a physical element to the skill lines.

What say you? A solid NHL defender or a physical policemen to ride shotgun for RNH, Hall and or Eberle?
