G 42 Devils at Oilers
Las Vegas in the olden days must have been something else. The NHL will be expanding soon, 2 more teams are required to make things work. Among the possible cities are Toronto 2.0, Quebec City, Las Vegas, Seattle, Kansas City. The old KC Scouts are in town tonight.
Oilers lost RNH, Jordan Eberle and Tommy Gilbert from the December club that was putrid and have called up Magnus Paajarvi and Ryan O’Marra. NJD are terrible too, this is the kind of game I used to get free tickets to back in the day (not true, the Canuck tickets were the easiest to get) and win or lost it’ll be tough to entertain the fans unless Taylor Hall is on fire again.
There’s no way to disguise this thing. Oilers have stepped into the elevator shaft and there’s no help coming. It’ll be interesting to see how many games they win between tonight and the return of Gilbert, Eberle and RNH. Stan Weir spends another season parked in the garage.
