Good to see the marketing arm of the Oil Kings do another horrible job. The shelves were thin the past 2 weeks for logo wear. No new jerseys, so I couldn’t get an XL size. No championship hats after the game today either.

The Oilkings outshot and out chanced Portland throughout the game although Portland were definately dangerous.
I heard someone mention that portland might be worn down for a game 7 and I think that might be accurate
It was a fun day.
I thought that first period was an amazing display. Kids, playing that well, that disciplined. Mistakes, sure, but not very damn many. Good coach there.

WHL champions in 5th year. Impressive. Next year most of the guys returning, and will be 19 year olds.
Edmonton rush also in the NLL final next week.
