OILERS SIGN DAVIDSON
The Edmonton Oilers have signed Brandon Davidson to an entry level deal. This makes 8 players from the 2010 entry draft signed, with Kellen Jones still in college and two players (Blain and Czerwonka) on the outside looking in.

I suggested him for the Oilers job and LT shot it down as the worst option possible comparing him to some coach I never heard from the 70′s or something.
Good on Davidson earning a contract. I remember reading that his family couldn’t afford to put him rep hockey for a couple years. Kid has got some character.
Also per TSN: Yakupov to spend a day and a half in Edmonton after the combine.
Good for the Oilers. As mentioned, he is a kid with some real character.
In regards to the cup finals… All I can say is go Blue Jays. Great pitching performance last night.
How about Igor Larionov coach the Oilers?
Hartley in Calgary means the kids will have to keep their heads up. Guy has a histrory of having teams that play on or over the edge.

Davidson just taking a more old school approach – hope he makes it.
100% agree with Traktor – Flames instantly get 100% better coaching from Hartley than whoever they just fired – hopefully Glen Sather’s still intrigued by the rumoured personal services contract from His Nibs, where Slats returns to lead the Oilers dynasty 2.0 from behind the bench at the new Katz Coliseum.
