It was like a 24-hour flu that threatened the mortgage.

Looks like TSN will show Oiler 5 games for us out-of towners- including Jan 22 vs SJ and 24th vs LA.

Yikes- 9 consecutive road games in 15 days. Feb 25- Mar 12. Includes 2 back-backs.
that’s CFR week, i believe.
they get an equally long home stand to follow, but that road trip will make or break the season.
I wish 83 had a few more games to make it up.

LA will start slow and Brown’s point source Kopitar is probably out for the first 5 games or so.

Wes – about a month ago Bob Stauffer noted that the deal was no longer in place. There was something about needing to have it done by Dec 1st. It may have been hot air, but regardless, no sense waiting for ‘it’, though others might occur and you and I won’t know the difference.
As per trades=seriousness about trades, I disagree. You can be very serious about making a deal and if you don’t find the right return, you are better off to stick with what you have.

Sorry Bookje wasn’t aware of the WOW trade being rescinded my bad.
While I agree with you making a bad trade is no way to run a team the Oilers needs dictate they have to do something.
Or, do we run into issues on defense and forwards again this season?
Jones is out already, we have to put an AHL player into the lineup, another injury and we have to move players into the line up where they shouldn’t be playing, this has been going on for three years.
If the Oilers are serious they will fix this issue before having to fix the issue internally. IMO
Wes – Ralph Kruger is here – he is going to make it all work – it’s going to be awesome man – just get on the bus and stop thinking about it – its going to be amazing!
