STARS AT OILERS G10 (12-13) 6.2.13
As an old timer Oiler fan, about 20 years ago I began asking younger fans how they came to be enchanted by the Oildrop. It especially became an issue when encountering young people who didn’t see the Glory team. Almost without fail, it was the Marchant OT goal. I don’t know how long youngsters lay dormant as Oiler fans before the Marchant explosion, but it has been one long sustained primal scream since the puck went past Moog.
Sometimes I’d hear about “the save” that went down just before the goal (still don’t know how he saved it).
–
The fun thing about a new coach is that each injury, each challenge offers us a new opportunity to see inside the coaching strategy. Calling up Arcobello is not the traditional Oiler way (VandeVelde’s a ‘big body’) but this isn’t the man who put JF Jacques on a feature line. There are lots of options:
- Move Hall down to the Gagner line and Yakupov to the Nuge line (keeping the RW’s as is).
- Moving Smyth or Hall to C.
Ben Eager has also been cleared, so there may be more than two moves tonight (Whitney in for Fistric, likely Arcobello in for Horcoff).
–
It’s way too early, but what the hell let’s run my RE against the tsn projections to see who is kicking ass and who is coming up short:
RE (tsn projections) (plusminus)
- Sam Gagner 43, 11-21-32 (48, 16-37-53) (+17)
- Nail Yakupov 45, 11-15-26 (48, 27-11-38) (+10)
- Taylor Hall 39, 21-19-40 (48, 11-37-48) (+1)
- Jordan Eberle 44, 14-18-32 (48, 16-21-37) (-2)
- Ales Hemsky 35, 8-24-32 (48, 16-11-27) (-17)
- Ryan Nugent-Hopkins 42, 13-26-39 (48, 0-27-27) (-18)
Gagner, Yakupov and Schultz the younger are beating reasonable to a pulp, I’m close on Hall and Ebs, but Hemsky and the Nuge projections were too strong. Ironically, the one everyone thought was an insult (Eberle) has been accurate to this point.
Long way to go.
–
A few game notes:
- The Oilers offense blooms on the PP. They rank 3rd in the NHL with 12 PP goals.
- Dallas leads the league in times shorthanded, 50.
- Oilers special teams are a gem so far. 4th in PP, 5th in PK. Horcoff’s injury will impact both disciplines.
- The FO percentage of Nuge, Gagner and Lander has been talked about a lot lately, but I talked for a former pro player yesterday who said part of the problem is the wingers don’t engage enough on a ’50-50′ draw that is in doubt. I’m going to look for that tonight.
–
I’m not as concerned about faceoffs as I used to be, and as usual it’s that damn Tyler Dellow and his slide rule. Quoting a Dellow article from a couple of years back:
- I did the math to calculate the expected penalty kill percentage of a team that wins 65% of the initial faceoffs when killing penalties and a team that wins 35% of them. I am, if anything, being generous with those bounds. I come up with the difference in faceoff percentage resulting in the 65% team killing penalties at an 81.2% rate and the 35% team killing them at an 80.1% rate. Over 266 opportunities, we’re talking about 2 or 3 goals.
I’m not saying it isn’t a concern, but the Oilers shouldn’t fold like a cheap suit tonight either.
–
I read somewhere that Horcoff won’t need surgery but is gone for a month. I know it isn’t in the Oilers management DNA to address need in the early part of the season but this would be a time to throw these kids a lifeline. Perhaps an expiring Mark Streit-type contract (although for a center, obviously. Pick up Streit too if he’s there) or someone they could use in Belanger’s role starting next season.
If they make a move, or if the Nordic line continues to impress, I think the seeds are sewn that will send Darcy Hordichuk off the roster. Hordichuk has been holding on to a roster spot all this time while play 2 and a half minutes.
–

That call is complete BS.. Pushing is now an NHL penalty..
looks like we are going to get a good look at every C in the Oilers’ system this year.
Or at least we’ll see them all break their ankles.
Another strong game from Petrell
Loving Gags effort
Smid needs to teach the other Oilers how not to get hurt by a puck.
with Lander out, is there going to be anything left of Gagner by the end of this game?
I know many will want to trade him soon, but I’m liking Gagner tonight. An assist an nice effort on the PK, and speaking of PK Petrell is an angel from heaven.
Dubnyk is a MAN
Gags looking good on the PK there…nice little run hes on.
Dubey is starting to gain my trust as an NHL starter
It’s a very effective way to evaluate talent.
Hall has such talent. At some point he and the other kids (RNH, Eberle) are going to start making people look silly more often than not.
And yes, Dubnyk, thus far? Clear starting goalie in the NHL.
seriously, if they call up a C to replace Lander, and a C so Smyth can play wing – are there going to be any Cs left in OKC?
Gagner sent a laser pass to Yak tape to tape long bomb.
Dueling iron!
Another beauty shot on goal by Stone Hands Hall. Maybe he should score a goal every couple of weeks before channelling his inner Omark.
Hall should sit the rest of the period for a dumb move like that.
It’s only fair – letting the Stars score.
This is some exciting hockey…even though they just scored
pucks to the net
Post to Post…Literally!
Agreed on that Taylor Hall shot. Bury that shot, young man.
You knew the Stars were going to score; too many great opportunities. Some bad luck (gee, bad luck and the Oilers!? Nonsense!) and one finally gets past Dubnyk.
Eberle has been very quite for a few periods. He is due for a goal or 3.
More flair on the last Dubnyk save – can the crowd start to appreciate him a little more now?
Gagner seems to have figured out the consistency issues he’s had in the past. His efforts have been really solid every game this year.
yak passes harder than Smyth shoots
Stupid icing …take another step
Stylish, how Oilers allow the other teams to look bigger and intimidating on home ice. Or, simply can’t stop them without the refs help, right?
The Canucks north, lol.
Arcobello defending Jagr is sort of like my friend’s chihuahua defending her home from me.
Sure, the ankles get scuffed up and there’s a whole lot of flailing about and noise, but I get to the kitchen table unimpeded.
Another shit call…unreal.
the officiating in this league is garbage
Some one should tweet this to Smyty.
Thanks officials….
Obviously the Oilers are improved this year from last and everything, but in fairness this is really B+W tv Saturday afternoon college hockey.
weak goal
Hate to agree with Captin Trolly in any way, but there’s not a big difference between the fan bases in Vancouver and Edmonton. We managed our own riots circa 2001 sans hockey loss. Plenty of d-bags in both locations…
Bob Arctor,
I have to disagree with Bob. The Edmonton riots were completely legitimate — the beer gardens were clearly too far from Whyte Ave. That’s uncivilized.
this team is going to be fun to watch next season.
Injuries or no injuries. Eberle is floating. Hemsky scores a beauty then makes 5 stupid plays in a row. Hall skates all over the ice and accomplishes little. The gap widens between Seguin and Hall. Hindsight is 20/20 but damn it!! Dubnyk has to have that last goal. Same shit different night.
Yeah, that’s been the mantra since forever.
Weak ass call on Hemsky, missed offside and in the net.
There’s something in the water when Dallas plays Edmonton that the refs fuck the Oilers in many ways.
4-14 should just start pounding the net with shots, they give up shots from good spots too much.
When the puck’s not going int, throw a puck at the net, go to the net.
So Sam Gagner is the last NHLer to have scored in everyone of their team’s games.
Well done.
So does that mean every other C in the league is a 4th line C as Sam should only be a 3rd line C?
I can watch Hemsky play hockey all day.
Despite being down so many men, the Oilers can still win this.
Go Oilers!!
*clap,clap*
Hordichuk with what? 49 seconds in this game?
One goal down going into the 3rd period, that’s how the Oilers win games now.
If they were down by six goals, the game would likely be over.
Normally I’m set with my bandwagon teams by February, but this is silly.
Clarkenstein,
Wow, tough crowd.
I think the Oilers have had more than their share of bad luck–that Yakupov shot is still ringing–but Dallas has been good enough for the 2-1 lead. Dubnyk has been stellar and the first goal was a no chance, but the PP goal is one he has to stop.
Despite the injuries, Oilers need to get a point tonight if they’re a playoff team.
Let’s go!
*clap clap*
The Oilers are gonna need a strong third period just to qualify for a moral victory.
That penalty and ensuing goal was a backbreaker.
Heard Halls explanation of the nifty move and made sense to me, trying to be creative, goalie didnt even see what he did. Seems like he chokes a fair bit with these great chances.
Lets see some heart here and tie this one up! Would love to see Arco setup Hall or Ebs here..
Beauty
Woodguy,
If Gagner was bigger, those points would count double.
When is the Oiler’s “window of opportunity” going to be? lol.
Playoffs?… Playoffs?
isn’t having fun watching enough.
If Gagner was bigger he’d have a prettier girlfriend.
If Gagner was bigger… I’d be bigger. and smarter.
Dennis King @DKingBH
Chances after 40: 13-16; 4-8 ST.
Winnable game, folks.
How is the gap widening between Seguin and Hall. Hall is outproducing him this year and is out pointsing him and out goaling him despite playing a lot less games.
If you mean hall is making the gap bigger and that tyler can not keep up with him than yes the gap is widening.
Seguin does not take over a game the way hall does.
Yep, with one injury we are essentially down to three lines. When we picked Hordi up his rep was a scrapper who could play a little. Well he’s no Laraque, who was no Simon, who was no Probert.
Only problem is he has chemistry with Hemsky and he’s also a RW. I wonder if we finally have to try that Hall at C experiment with this temporary shortage at the position.
If Sam Gagner was bigger, he’d be Kyle Wellwood.
But Seguin makes Gagner bigger.
LT, what does the ST stand for, on the second part of the scoring chances?
Rocknrolla,
Special teams.
Gagner is our biggest top six forward
I think Gagner is French for “to get bigger”.
If only Gagner was born in Bigger, Saskatchewan…
Hemsky, oh dear that would have been nice.
Hemsky opting for shot instead of pass!?
My feed went dead. Is that good?
who slots in at LW?
Credited with three hits during that time, though.
Doesn’t that mean that we should be winning? Or at least that there shouldn’t be this many injuries?
Is Gagner Quebec French, France French, or Togo French?
Hook, it was out right mugging on Samwise
Jesus Eberle, get your ass back to the AHL and learn to fucking shoot.
Jesus, even Eberle is squeezing the stick.. gotta bury that
Eberle needed to bury that chance.
How the hell does Eberle miss that? Christ.. that’s just too much Hockey Gods!
Anyone else noticing Yakupov always doesn’t have his stick on the ice? Maybe he feels he can shoot the puck from wherever he receives the pass with his quick shot, but must be a bit tough for his linemates without a target. Noticed it there on the Hemsky shot, Yak was trailing and stick at waist level.
Also nice hit by him!
Wow Schultz wow
Justin Schultz, superhero.
Harti!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, at least the actual AHL scoring leader managed to put the puck in the net.
He is Magic
Hockey Gods are unsustainable… but Schultz is blessed!
Eberle didn’t score because there were 12 minutes left in the game. That goal wouldn’t have been clutch enough.
nevermind.. thats all schultz
Did Harski get a touch or straight in?
hahahaha! Yes!
i’m so glad he choo-choo-choo-choosed us.
Schultz the younger (Hemsky, Hall)
NHL.com has Smid credited with 9 blocked shots – is that an error?
Edit: Sorry, I mean tonight, not on the season.
That looked like a Teemu deflection.
I would love the Nordic line to get the winner, they have worked hard since they have been together.
Who is keeping the Hemsky v. Brown tally??
fuzzy muppet,
When Brown’s ahead, the Cheerful Cap’n. Otherwise, I presume nobody.
No, it’s 9.
What a change. There was a decade there where it felt like every game against Dallas was destined to be a loss (unless it was a playoff game).
No, not an error. There was a sequence earlier where he blocked three or four shots. He’s fantastic at blocking shots that would fell a Lander, Belanger or Horcoff!
I think he does lead the forward corps in career fights, that’s got to be worth something. (Other than Hordi of course, I’m not couting him until he hits the triple digets for seconds played.)
PRV looking good.
That’s, uh…quite good.
Great forecheck Hartikainen
Smid is actually the starting goalie. Dubnyk is just his backup.
MPS hit someone! OK it was the goalie, after the save, but… baby steps
Brown has been ahead since the day the bet was made.
Currently:
DB – 24
AH – 16
LA has 2 games in hand.
The Baltica-Scandio line is turning into something nice.
also, PRV does have to score eventually, right?
i mean not that he has to, in his current role, but you figure something has to go in eventually right?
I hope they sign this man.
Curious to see how scores first; Paajarvi or RNH.
Exactly
Thanks, but I’m happy at my current job, and I’m not very good at hockey.
A gift from refs
Finally a shitty call for the boys
So…. Taylor Hall… moose redux? Left wing to centre?
sigh.
lol. Paajarvi with the nice play there, drawing a penalthy.
and the Oilers are doing nothing with it.
Hall wins faceoffs because he *wants* to win faceoffs.
that had to be a make-up call for something.
Some real soft work by Smyth a couple times there.
Whitney brings some chaos there.
Yak needs to work on his passing. a couple of clear misses on the PP really slowed things down.
Nice MPS. I thought that was Hartikainen for a moment.
striatic,
He gets so amped up. He’ll learn to keep it in check.
Only 10 games in…he may end up as THE man
MPS is stepping up his game nicely with all the injuries.
I’m a muppet of a man!!!
striatic,
Yak thought NHL player could skate, he did not expect Smyth and Whiteny.
Paajarvi looks really good tonight. Also, we need to plant Harski in front of that net more often. Great havoc he wrecks.
fuzzy muppet,
patience, patience, i know, i know.
i think he doesn’t realize the other players aren’t as fast as he is and leads them too much with his passes.
VanOil,
ha. exactly.
Well, got a point.
so .. can Khabibulin play centre?
If I’m Ralph Krueger I’m so proud of this team I’m bursting.
point secured
it’s hard not to like the effort again. Short handed…severely, fall behind on a BS call, yet they battle back.
If they could only stay healthly!(and acquire a top four D)
Centre Bench
Idea for a rule change in hockey. 1) If a penalty is not called during the coarse of play and is discovered on video review, the team that should have been penalized forfeits the game. 2) After a whistle is called, teams can admit to penalties, nullifying the possibility of (1), and allowing referees to retroactively call penalties.
Crazy? It would be like a hybrid with ultimate frisbee rules.
Yay refs? Missed the gimme call.
weak
Why do we let Whitney play in over time? A 40 year old can bet him out the corner
Fucking Ryan Whitney…he can’t play anymore
Whitney…
Jagr didn’t end Whitney’s NHL career there, but he helped.
Jagr is a demi-god. No mere mortal plays hockey like that at that age.
And it costs us. Of course.
One point. Stars 3 stars > Oilers.
Who did Jagr walk around?
5 points out of a possible 10 in the second 5 game segment.
not good enough, but it’ll have to do.
So, two goals against can be traced to the officials.
whitney.
Whitney couldn’t handle Jagr off the side boards? Weeirrrdd…..
Was trying not to jump on the down with Whitney bandwagon, but geezus…
do feel bad for him though…
Fedun please.
Over to you, Mr. GM.
Poor guy.
Yeah, but 8 points given away. Killer
Whitney again….
That’s the one. Whitney has to walk in that dressing room now after everyone spilled blood, sweat and tears trying to win the game. This entire Whitney situation won’t end well, but especially for him.
Life is a bitch sometimes.
Poor poor guy.
it sucks, but Whitney just doesn’t have NHL mobility anymore.
Whitney was embarrassed again, but the coach can’t put him and Potter out there 4 on 4, especially with Yakupov and Paajarvi as the forwards, and even less so with Jagr and Benn as the match.
Sad, but very very true
So the refs fuck the Oilers again with Dallas in town. How do you not call the too many men????
Whitney, god love his spirit, is done as a NHL player.
Loved the spirit and how bloody hard most of the Oilers played.
Thought 91′s play got stronger and stronger as the game went on.
Great things are coming for this team.
So….Hall goes 60% on the dot eh?
He should take every draw when he’s on the ice, the move back to the wing so he can be the first up the ice and not worry about being the first back.
Dallas isn’t good. They should have killed the Oilers tonight.
I had them 13th/14th in the West at the beginning of year in one of the threads, and it will end up that way.
In overtime the D-rotation should go; Smid-Petry, Schultzx2, Smid-Petry, etc.. Yes, they’ll be gassed. But they’ll still be faster than Whitney.
And yeah, the whole thing sucks for Whitney. Great guy, great player.. and he’s watching everything swirling around the toilet. Such a shame.
they simply HAVE to get another defenseman. I know they won’t because management has a built in excuse to fail… One more year of tanking is getting close
Yup, they gave a great effort.
Year by year since the Hall pick, this team has been getting tougher. They haven’t folded once this year. Effort every single game (or dead-tired.)
they’re like Calgary of the past few years. they won’t make the playoffs but 13th/14th only happens if Lehtonen gets injured.
They battled back in the 2nd and 3rd periods, they should be proud of that.
“Gagner” means “to win” en Englais.
Perfect.
Shitty to lose this game. In some ways, didn’t deserve to win (how many two on ones were there!?), but the vast majority of the team pulled their shit together and battled hard. Loved Hemsky’s game. That entire line was excellent for long stretches. The top line needs to do something on the scoresheet. Eberle, RNH (when he gets back), Hall.. they can generate chances all they want, but c’mon! Slaughter a goat and put pucks into the net!
Liking MPS, Harski. Smyth.. at times looks similar to last year, and other times he’s just completely flat footed. Petrell slugging out good efforts. Smid/Petry decent, though by eye Smid was the better of the two. Nick Schultz… not enthused with him, overall, on the year. I miss Gilbert. Justin is just.. fantastic. Sign him long term as soon as possible.
the third 5 game segment is going to be critical.
first 5 games, Oilers great out of the gate.
second 5 games, they stumble but manage to prevent unrecoverable damage.
the third 5 game segment will determine if the Oilers are a playoff team this year and i don’t think they have the depth to bounce back in the face of these injuries.
10 game trial is over. Peckham, Fedun heck even Marincin would at least have prospects of improving. Maybe Whitney caught the ‘soreness’ bug tonite?
Also,
Justin Shultz is a ridiculously good hockey player.
A great example of waiting for young men to mature instead of watching kids get their heads beat in, (or shoulders pulverized) by playing in the NHL too soon.
I think he’s got a good shot to be the first Oiler to ever win the Calder.
Agreed 100%
Oh, sorry its RK, 110%!
He’s played 114 games for the OIlers since the 2010 deadline and made $15MM doing it.
He’ll be fine.
The OIlers owe him nothing.
Hordichuk with an ‘electric’ 0:49 TOI.
surely that roster spot would be better filled by, oh, i don’t know, a hockey player of some kind?
This team is the 05-06 Penguins to me. Most of the important pieces in place, but maybe the results don’t come. But you can see the potential.
That said, if there was a stat that tracked how many times a team had full control of the puck in their own zone but failed to clear it…. sheesh.
Felt bad a bit for Dubnyk too. He left a puck-sized hole on that short side, and maybe no one on the ice but Jagr makes that shot. He played well, made plenty of stops he had no right to.
Whitney’s mobility is even a bigger issue 4v4.
Krueger talking about “fixing the holes” in his presser – with WHAT?
lol. I’m thrilled he’s using the Nordics. Holy hell, if the three ystävä can develop into NHL players this season will have some very good arrows.
Take aways. in brief.
If anyone is still hating on Hemsky 10 games in they are not a fan of this team anymore. They probably weren’t to begin with, but they ought to be ostracized right fast now.
Gagner. 10 game point streak! holy crap… he’s the silent killer on this team.
Yak. throwing the body and working at a pace the game hasn’t seen before. I’m sure each generation of hockey players has seen a speedster come up and skate, pass, shoot, etc. at a next level… the way Yak passes… I think we are seeing a whole group of players becoming outmoded. He’s a glimpse of what’s coming.
Dubs. This guy is huge. he keeps the team in it night after night.
Magnus. did anyone else see him cross-check the goalie at some point? he played a great game. drew a penalty… needs to pot one!
refs… fuck… classic dallas game… you can’t win without half your family dying, and you will probably still lose.
meanwhile Sheldon Souray with a Goal, an Assist and +2 on the night.
he is every reason the Oilers have 5 of 10 points in their last 5.
striatic,
the third 5 game segment will determine if the Oilers are a playoff team this year and i don’t think they have the depth to bounce back in the face of these injuries.
Once 20′s open wound heals, he can play on broken toes. Seriously.
RNH back Saturday, I hope he’s not rushed.
Replace Whitney with Theo Honeyham and they aren’t missing much really.
I love 10, but 20 can do his job and they can get by with VV as 4C.
I think I just talked myself into believing that.
Must be RK’s influence.
Re: Ryan Whitney.
It sucks that he sucks for the Oilers and Oiler fans and even for him.
However “Poor Poor Guy” – not really, he is a multimillionaire who’s career is going to end early – some other kid like Fedun is going to get his chance because of it and get to cash a few big cheques while doing so.
Whitney will survive, lets not get too carried away with the sympathy.
Edit – I see Woodguy already basically said this – in any case, I agree.
Last year Souray had 11 great games with a lot of points and then did nothing for the remainder of the season. Let’s give it a few weeks before getting too excited.
I like this 5 game segmented thinking… i get confused when I get to that final 3 games… but I work through it.
As I understand it, those who hated Hemsky in the past are now hating Hall.
But he’s terrible in the room.
Just look, ANA has lost 1 whole game in regulation.
I bet that bastard Souray was the cause.
Also,
Also picked ANA to make the playoffs when many had them near the bottom. (strains shoulder patting self on back)
They added Souray and Allen in July and both of them out shot the toughest comp on their team last year.
Good GM’s add good players.
After the Quinn and Renney waltz, I think RK plays a beat that the kids can dance to.
Some encouraging things out there, but at the end of the day Steve Tambellini not doing his job
- Needed to make a move to acquire a top 4 defenceman with Whitney’s issues
- Failed to acquire depth for a veteran forward. Plenty of players out there that could help down the middle (Connolly, Arnott, etc.)
Not being proactive at all. Sickening. This team has the talent to make the playoffs.
Their Dads hated Coffey
Jedi mind tricks.
Did the Oilers hire some ex-Soviet advisor? What’s with all of the 5-game planning going on around here?
Why not a 4 game or 6 game plan?
I completely understand this mentality… but I don’t think it actually amounts to much.
$$ is not going to have a major impact on the affects involved here, especially considering the public nature of the affects related to competition.
I think we can all expect Whitney to either feel profound loss, shame, frustration, doubt and a giant existential chasm opening before him: “what gives my life purpose now?”… or for him to be tragically deluded about his abilities.
I think most can empathize with some of that, while still acknowledging the guy will never suffer for subsistence.
PunjabiOil,
Arnott is broken and failed NYR’s physical exam – not sure he would help.
There may be others out there, but I don’t see the point in giving up much more than a 3rd round draft pick for a depth centre.
With that said, we have a 29 year old vet defensman with a very solid career record that could be had if the offer was right.
haha!
I was going to make that joke… but then I thought no one would like a good pinko joke… wish I had now.
last year the coaching staff was breaking the season into 5 game segments so i’m experimenting with following the team through that lens.
why 5? i don’t know. gives a good mix of home and road games without being too long to assess as a whole? it’s certainly arbitrary but i don’t think that’s a flaw.
The guy has a few rough weeks ahead of him at some point, but I am sure that there are lots of people around him who can remind him how fortunate he is in the grand scheme of things. I suspect it’s a great deal harder for the 29 year old AHL vets who are deciding to hang up their skates after earning $60,000 a year in the AHL while trying to make a career out of it. They had all of the same sacrifices (more actually) without the great benefits.
In any case, its not that I don’t empathise, its just that I deal with lots of people all of the time who go through things far worse than having an NHL career come to an end. “Poor Poor Guy” seems a bit melodramatic for the situation. Maybe “Poor guy”, but not “Poor Poor Guy”…
Romulus Apotheosis,
I think we can all expect Whitney to either feel profound loss, shame, frustration, doubt and a giant existential chasm opening before him: “what gives my life purpose now?”… or for him to be tragically deluded about his abilities.
That’s very well put.
He’s only 30 though, there is lots of life left and almost infinite choices given that he doesn’t have to worry about how to provide for his family first and foremost.
I think he’s single too.
All else being equal, a joke’s humour is inversely proportional to the number of people who get it – that’s Steve’s fourth law of comedy.
(The second is that puns involving the verb “to come” are automatically funny.)
striatic,
I actually don’t think its a bad way of looking at things at all – its just that every time I see it, I think of the USSR and 5 year plans…
Sorry for all of the end of game comments – My iPhone keeps crashing everytime I go to comment on it during the game – not sure why.
Anyone else having that problem?
haha!
I’ll agree with that for sure. I won’t be pouring out any scotch on the lawn in mourning for him that’s for sure.
And struggling really, really hard for something and either failing, or having it taken away from you and not having $$$ and women falling over you, etc… yea… that’s way worse!
still the guy is going to go through some depressing crap in the next year or two.
I hope he has the drive to find something else as fun for him to invest himself into.
David C. Parker @ParkerVizion
Oilers Marc Arcobello and Oil staff just leaving Rexall with hockey bag and sticks. Back to OKC?
Nuge coming back?
