Tyler Pitlick was injured today (knee) and Anton Lander is a healthy scratch tonight in the Barons game. Could it be? It does make some sense in that the Oilers need any available NHL calibre talent for the bottom 2 lines (and Linus Omark is less attractive as a depth forward/penalty killer).
However, it once again brings the following question to the forefront: how much do the Oilers value Linus Omark? A night after scoring 4 goals, just a few days after watching Ben Eager, Ryan Jones and Tyler Pitlick get the call, the club sends for Lander?
Hockey can be a cruel sport sometimes. We wait.
