I lost my father-in-law in 2011, thinking about him tonight. Hope he got to see the game with Ronny.

I talked to a Saskatoon Labour and Delivery nurse today and she was telling me that she’s seen at least two babies named Ryder born during her shift in the last few days. I imagine there’ll be a few more now!

I was able to go to the game, just incredible. Easily the greatest thing I’ve witnessed in my short 20 years. In the post game show on 620 CKRM they were talking about this game as the most historically important event in Saskatchewan since WWII ended, unreal. As long as I’ve got the Riders I can take all the crap the Oilers through my way.

Being at the Cup yesterday and also seeing the other Rider playoff games live is a combined experience I doubt I will ever top in my lifetime. Just awesome. RIDERS!!!

As an Oiler fan, it gives me hope that the perfect ending you always seek out as a fan is possible. The Riders have trudged their way through more long seasons and heartbreak than anyone.
