I had him at No. 61, and like this selection a lot.
- Elite Prospects: A big and strong two-way defenseman with good hockey sense and passing ability. Valuable on the man advantage with a strong release and good puck control. Not a speedster and should use his large frame to his advantage.
- The Black Book: Despite the large frame and not the fastest stride, Berglund actually has good finesse with the puck. He controls the puck very well and uses his size to protect it. Berglund has good instincts both when starting the transition out of his own zone as well as in the offensive zone. He has good vision and can regularly execute accurate passes. This allows him to complete accurate outlets, he also has enough puck-handling skills not to get flustered if he is pressured.
