AHL Game 61: Condors at Reign

The Bakersfield Condors are still alive in the playoff race (please don’t make me explain the playoff process in the AHL’s Pacific Division, it is biblical and it is here) and get a chance to grab two points tonight in Ontario. The lineup is in a state of flux—Keegan Lowe is headed to Edmonton and Laurent Brossoit is in California and starting tonight—but it’s all hands on deck.

  • Joey Laleggia (60, 12-26-38)—Josh Currie (60, 19-23-42)—Zach O’Brien (35gp, 5-14-19)
  • Joe Gambardella (42, 12-5-17)—Kyle Platzer (38, 6-7-13)—Tyler Vesel (3, 0-1-1)
  • Braden Christoffer (55, 6-8-14)—Brad Malone (51, 13-18-31)—Patrick Russell (60, 12-12-24)
  • Evan Polei (22, 4-4-8)—Colin Larkin (8, 0-1-1)—Ostap Safin (3, 0-0-0)
  • Dillon Simpson (59, 4-13-17)—Logan Day (2, 1-0-1)
  • Ryan Stanton (43, 2-6-8)—Ben Betker (37, 1-4-5)
  • Caleb Jones (50, 2-14-16)—Eric Gryba (22, 0-0-0)
  • Laurent Brossoit (22, 2.72 .912) Nick Ellis

The Condors are running the new hires out there this evening, should be a fun game to follow. I’m especially interested in Ostap Safin and young Logan Day. Updates throughout the evening.

Off topic: my dad is here from another province and loves the Oilers. I’d like to take him to Rogers but there’s no game this weekend. Any suggestions on how to get into the building?
