G70 2022-23: Oilers at Kraken

by Lowetide

The Edmonton Oilers look good since the deadline. The team is 6-2-0 , with a five-on-five goal share of 58 percent (23-17). Edmonton’s goals-per-60 in the discipline (3.62) is No. 1 in the NHL in March. The goals-against-per-60 is No. 17 (2.67) and is No. 8 in the Pacific Division. That sounds tragic, but the Vegas Golden Knights (2.59) and Seattle Kraken (2.65) are in the same neighbourhood. If numbers matter, these Oilers look far better than the current standings suggest. Today is a great opportunity for a team like Edmonton to flex on a team that should be second best in this matchup. Ah, but that’s why they play the games. The Seattle Kraken took a year, but they’re bona fide.

THE ATHLETIC!

WHAT TO EXPECT IN MARCH

  • At home to: TOR, WPG (Expected 1-1-0) (Actual 2-0-0)
  • On the road to: WPG, BUF, BOS, TOR (Expected 2-2-0) (Actual 2-2-0)
  • At home to: OTT, DAL (Expected 1-1-0) (Actual 2-0-0)
  • On the road to: SEA (Expected 1-0-0) (Actual 0-0-0)
  • At home to: SJS, ARI, VGK (Expected 2-1-0) (Actual 0-0-0)
  • On the road to: ARI, VGK (Expected 1-1-0) (Actual 0-0-0)
  • At home to: LAK (Expected 1-0-0) (Actual 0-0-0)
  • March expected result: 9-6-0, 18 points in 15 games
  • March actual result: 6-2-0, 12 points in eight games
  • February actual result: 4-3-4, 12 points in 11 games
  • January actual result: 8-2-2, 18 points in 12 games
  • December results: 7-6-2, 16 points in 15 games
  • November results: 7-7-0, 14 points in 14 games
  • October results: 6-3-0, 12 points in 9 games
  • Oilers in 2022-23: 38-23-8, 84 points in 69 games

I will confess to surprise the club is 6-2-0 through this stretch of games. I had Edmonton starting the month 4-4-0 and then going 5-2-0 from here. If the March numbers are real, and the GA-60 at five-on-five is as good as advertised, I’m liking this team to push for the division title. Big game today.

THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR

One of the things I wish we could change about our discussions of players is the vitriol and negativity. The Oilers conversation online is rancid now. This blog was once safe haven, but we’re like all the rest these days. It would be nice to talk about Kailer Yamamoto as an NHL player who is struggling, instead of a useless piece of meat you have to stare at every evening. Yamamoto has overcome much and has given this organization productive seasons. His struggles this year are real, but that isn’t good reason to be most unkind.

So, today and moving forward, we’re turning back the clock at Lowetide. If you post something that is over the line, I will monitor your texts for one week (publishing them after review). That applies to all players, posters, hockey people, farm animals, banks, cafes, basically every subject one can think of and reasonably post here. Thanks.

Yamamoto’s sins are mostly from the ‘saw him good’ side of the ledger, as his stats over the last three years have been consistent if unspectacular.

For me, a rational and informed reaction to these numbers is Yamamoto has been consistent over these seasons. He plays with high skill and is never the feature winger, but the goal share is rock solid. His 5-on-5 goals-60 was No. 5 among the skill forwards last season (Nuge was at .44-60). This year his .66 goals-60 ranks No. 9 among forwards and still beats one of the feature players (Zach Hyman, .64-60).

Yamamoto’s lunch has been eaten, rapped in a paper bag, thrown in the trash and driven to the landfill this season. Men like Klim Kostin (1.33 goals-60), Warren Foegele (1.06-60), Derek Ryan (1.03-60), Ryan McLeod (.87-60) landed clear of No. 56. That doesn’t mean he is useless, it means he has struggled and may be dealt in the summer. If he is, the Oilers will get a solid return. Your opinion of Oilers players who are struggling is often so incorrect it cuts off conversation.

The point of this blog is to converse, make your case and in some cases defend it. The verbal on this blog has gone unchecked winterlong, too long. It ends today.

RECALLS

I was on with Jasons Gregor and Strudwick yesterday afternon, we got talking about recalls from the farm. It’s important for the Bakersfield Condors to keep playing deep into the spring, because the parent team may need a quick fix outside the roster. Who is playing well? Here are the prospect forwards since Christmas and their points-per-game.

  • Raphael Lavoie 32 games, 19-14-33 (1.03)
  • Dylan Holloway 1 game, 0-1-1 (1.00)
  • Noah Philp 33 games 11-12-23 (.70)
  • Tyler Tullio 30 games, 9-10-19 (.63)
  • Xavier Bourgault 30 games, 5-11-16 (.53)
  • Carter Savoie 19 games, 5-1-6 (.32)

Beyond Holloway, who is on the list because he’s in Bakersfield injured and cap hooped, I think Lavoie and Philp are the class of the group. Injuries have impacted the other three men and things can change. However, for me, Lavoie is the clear number one and I do think Philp has shown enough to get a look. Here are the team’s defensemen who are under contract and their even-strength goal differentials over the entire season.

  • Phil Kemp 38-34 (52.8 pct)
  • Markus Niemelainen 15-16 (48.4 pct)
  • Jason Demers 33-39 (45.8 pct)

Our chat discussed who could be recalled if the Oilers current seven needed help. I think all three of us agreed Niemelainen would be the first recall, and I suggested Demers might be second in the queue but his foot speed would be the issue. I also said Phil Kemp might play in the NHL but I didn’t think he would thrive if called upon to play his first NHL games in the playoffs. I’ll say this: The numbers like Kemp.

TYLER BENSON

Benson has posted pedestian numbers (33 games, 5-15-20) this season in the AHL, and didn’t do enough when he did have the chance as an NHL player. It’s obvious he can pass and has vision, but his speed and shot are shy. What’s more, Ken Holland has done a good job of finding wingers who can outperform Benson. Here’s a three-year look at NHL numbers for LW’s, using five-on-five pts-60.

  • Evander Kane: 2.3; 2.2; 1.95.
  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: 1.15; 1.46; 1.96
  • Warren Foegele: 1.6; 1.38; 2.02
  • Mattias Janmark: 1.14; 1.45; 1.43
  • Dylan Holloway: 1.2
  • Tyler Benson: .88; .5; 0

Benson could get the call, but it’s extremely likely Dylan Holloway is ahead of him on the depth chart as soon as the rookie is healthy. I would bet Holloway is one of the post-season recalls by Edmonton and he could see playoff action this spring. Other candidates include James Hamblin, Seth Griffith, Justin Bailey, Brad Malone.

NEXT NHL CONTRACTS

In the spirit of last year’s signings of Vincent Desharnais and James Hamblin to NHL deals, here are my target players for Oilers management this year. PS, I have zero idea if the organization is entertaining any signings.

  • LD Alex Peters. He’s 26 and has just over 50 AHL games so far, but he’s an effective player in the AHL. He’s 6.04, 220 and plays a rugged game. Even-strength goal share through the roof.
  • RW Dino Kambeitz. He’s 23, 6.02 and 210, doesn’t have enough offense to project as an NHL player. I don’t think they’ll sign him but can see the appeal if he gets a contract. Kind of Patrick Russell with no bat.

POSSIBLE OILERS ROSTER 2023-24

This is just dealing Kailer Yamamoto and Brett Kulak for picks and signing all of the important UFA and RFA players from the current group. Comes in with $20,000 to spare. I know the Oilers will make moves, but the Ekholm acquisition solves some things and (as I wrote in the piece up today at The Athletic about Brett Kulak) Philip Broberg is ready for an everyday role. The trade I’ve made in this model is in the RW overhaul. Yamamoto joins Puljujarvi heading out and the two trade pickups (Foegele and Kostin) replace them.

McDavid now with the 36th best offensive season in NHL history. By this point next week he’ll probably be flirting with 22-21 best. What a beast.

Nice to see Yamo pot one and of course for Kane to pot three.

It’s terrifying that McD has put up these sort of points this year while a 30 goal scorer has been so often injured.

Gonna be a fun stretch drive here.

Crazy Pedestrian

Calgary now has 15 Bettman fLame points. That’s Over 20% of their games so far. What’s the most amount of loser points any team has finished with? This almost seems like it should be the new record already.

I know Dallas isn’t too far behind with 13 loser points, but the difference is that have 38 wins and are still flirting with the top of the western conference.

Harpers Hair

The record number of OT losses is 18 jointly held by 4 teams….PHA, NJD, FLA and TBL. and

Reja

Valimaki with the winning goal and a 3 point night for the red hot Coyotes. Who takes the blame for putting Valimaki on waivers.

smellyglove

Ekholm is +13 in 9 games with the Oilers and doesn’t have a single PIM.

Reja

I’m going to Prorate H.H style let’s see
that would be a +118 and change for a 82 game schedule. Is it possible we have a healthy Swedish Pronger. I do believe Ekholm and family are going to love the City of Edmonton’s intensity when the Playoff’s begin.

Reja

Hrudey is going to cry

dangilitis

To give Hrudey a modicum of credit, he just agreed with the panel that the goal was a good one.

Reja

They were looking at the offside Markstrom was being a drama queen shades of Big Save Dave.

Reja

What’s the over under they have those 4 snuggling all on one Sofa by years end. This new casual look is so unprofessional.

Reja

Goalie interference my ass party on Electric Avenue is cancelled due to Calgary being sore Losers.

Admiral Ackbar

Too bad Flames & kings got a point but otherwise, “ Thank you Dallas & Vancouver!”

Munny 2.0

Robertson crushes Calgary’s dreams, scoring with the clock ticking down in OT.

Uhoh possible review

Munny 2.0

Markstrom thrashes his stick into splinters in response to the goal counting.

Admiral Ackbar

Watching Markstrom smash that stick: priceless.

Munny 2.0

Van win in a shootout. Flames about to start OT

Diablo

So much for LA’s new goaltending … at one point he Kings were up 32-5 in shots in the third period. I’m looking forward to our higher end forwards absolutely torching Korpisalo and Copley.

Harpers Hair

Kings have not given up more than 2 goals in a game once in March.

Yukon Jerk

Yawn,
Only because they haven’t played the Oilers yet.

Harpers Hair

The Kings have played the Oilers twice this season.

The scores were 3-1 and 6-3 both for the Kings.

Yukon Jerk

We’re talking about March, not the season.
But fair point, L.A. has indeed bested Edm.
Oilers are a different team now,
laying waste to the Western conference in March.
Just overtook the Kraken in the standings, Kings are now officially on notice.
Shout out to your Canucks with the help, great job tonight

Harpers Hair

The Kings are the hottest team in the league with 16 points in their last 10 games.

They are also a different team since they added Korpisalo and Gavrikov at the deadline addressing both of their most urgent needs.

maudite

How about those Krakens!

Harpers Hair

Goaltending is going to sink them.

Surprised they didn’t address it at the deadline.

Diablo

Korpisalo is a career mediocre goalie riding a hot streak.

Goaltending is going to sink them.
Surprised the Kings didn’t (properly) address it at the deadline.

maudite

I think a massive kudos is in order to Francis. I was hoping they’d spend assists on goalie wrongfully buying into hype of ridiculous hot streak when you were hammering your kraken drum for a couple months there.

I said at the time that their realistic record would put them around Nashville level. As much as I’d love oilers to have a chance of them being 1st round opponent your “all things krak” updates have me cheering for them to regress fully and possibly miss.

To paraphrase “they are so far ahead that even if they cool off they’ll easily make the playoffs” was what you told me.

Reja

Oettinger is hot garbage Dallas better pull up their boot straps are they’ll be starting on the road come Playoff time.

dangilitis

With Oettinger even at replacement level, Dallas is not that intimidating. When he plays like this, the Stars are essentially the Flames…

Munny 2.0

Three point game in LA. Flickers lead the Stars by one with little under eight to play

Munny 2.0

Looks like an absolute special teams collapse by the Condors. What happened there, OP?

OriginalPouzar

I had to go to bed before the third.

Well, they got ALL the powerplays in the 2nd and it looks like it was opposite in the 3rd.

Philp banged in a rebound on a PP with 2 minutes to go to make it a one-goal game.

Condors haven’t scored at 5 on 5 in a few games now. PP is scoring but these injuries are piling up.

Munny 2.0

Canucks tie it at two, six seconds into their first powerplay of the game. Petterson.

Don’t know if they have enough to take this unless the get some real legs off this goal

maudite

Ah crap tried to edit and fix fat fingers comment in spam

Munny 2.0

Shots are 34-6 in the Canucks-Kings game, 13 to play

OriginalPouzar

I missed it by Niemo left the game in the 2nd after taking a hit and isn’t out for the third period.

Munny 2.0

I’m hoping like hell Connor can hit his on-pace number. 156 points would put him past Yzaerman, Espo and Nicholls. The best season by anyone not named Gretzky or Lemieux.

I feel its a little unfair to him to expect him to maintain such a torrid pace over such a short strecth of games, but he usually he turns the dial to eleven to end the season. If he can hit 160 that would be otherworldly. Olympian. Legendary. Deified.

Reja

Connor is so super competitive just like Wayne was they never take a game, period and very few shifts off. It’s still early but Connor’s trending in the high rent district all-time.

Munny 2.0

Things are not going well out-of-town. Flickers have tied things at 4 after two, which reeks of three point game. Kings took the lead late in the second. Start the third up 2-1.

Reja

I wonder how many more points Gretzky would of had without the centre ice called as a 2 line offside. How many more with overtime with 3 on 3 or even 4 on 4 overtime. 200-300 points I’m probably lowballing this total

Brogan Rafferty's Uncle Steve

When you factor in modern goalie equipment it is probably a wash.

Reja

What about better sticks and gloves. Same net size net yet the Goalies have twice as much equipment. I’ll take Hasek hands down over any Goalie in the league. How about Ken Dryden or Tretiak go back and watch how good these 2 were.

OriginalPouzar

Condors waste no time on a 5 on 3. Nothing fancy – Dineen across the line to Griffith, he walks in to the top or the circles and rips it bar down. 1-0 with 5:40 left in the 2nd.

Another 5 on 3 shorty after and a Kight breaks a stick. Hamblin back door to Bailey, he’s stopped but he bangs the rebound in.

2-0 with 3:40 to go.

Tarkus

Summarizing!

Chiasson celebrated his new pact with not one, but two assists in the Blades’ 3-2 win.

Ranford.85

Another McDavid stat I just heard on HNIC that blows my mind, is that he has 20 3-point games. That’s a quarter of a full season….

OriginalPouzar

I believe he has as many 4 points games as he does 0 point games as well. think.

Reja

Jarnkrok scores 1 Goal in 29 games counting the Playoffs he cost Treliving a 2nd a 3rd and a 7th round picks. Obviously the Flames let him walk at years end. Jarnkrok then signs with the Leafs and now has 17 Goals in 62 games.

Side

I also like how the Flames waived Valimaki only for the Coyotes to claim him. Valimaki has played 65 games and has 28 points on a terrible Coyotes team.

If Valimaki were on the Flames, only Andersson (44 points) and Hanifin (31 points) would be ahead of him.

Weegar would then follow with 22 points.

Munny 2.0

Shots 13-3 Bako after one but no score. I’m not watcng but I’d imagine they’re disappointed with that result.

Munny 2.0

Canucks have played very well as of late. Here’s hoping for a little regicide. A coup d’etat.
1-1 after one.

Dear NHL Schedule Makers,

No more afternoon games for the Oilers, please and thank you.

wow, what a mess of a hockey game. Glad we won, but bank the points and never speak of this again.

OriginalPouzar

April 8th vs. the Sharks.

One of the few games that’s not a 7:30, 8 or 8:30 start time (mountain).

Scungilli Slushy

Lowetide you should seriously look at if the plus minus rating is relevant to an increase in hostility and less considered discussion

Anonymous criticism doesn’t do well with humans

If it provides revenue, understood

90s fan

I think ot was concluded he was unable to remove it.

Scungilli Slushy

Right thx

Fuge Udvar

That sounds like an insane amount work for a guy with a family and full time career. When is he supposed to run that study?

90s fan

I mean, the study has already been done i think.

90s fan

Connor just passed selanne, hull and turgeon for most points in a season. 2 more points to pass Kurri.

90s fan

3 mpre points to pass lafleur

Walter Gretzkys Neighbour

Watching TML – OTT just the most insane penalty called on Holl – stick “touches” Tkachuk’s toe, down he goes. Not that I care about the game or call – the point is there has emerged a penalty I like to call “2 minutes for boing in the vicinity of a player who falls down”. That’s not the way tripping used to be called…

Buddy

Pretty sure the Tkachuk family knows where the refs buried the bodies.

Scungilli Slushy

They could have drafted a Tka over Jesse, but I still am glad they didn’t

I have criticized the constant ‘he’s a good guy’ verbal from our management, go get players with enough aggressiveness, but at some point it matters if you are gross

Reja

Kane fits the description.

Buddy

I’ve lived in Calgary for decades. Buddy Jr. played minor hockey with kids of former Flames, kids of current Flames staff. I was slowly, unconsciously drifting into “you know, the Flames aren’t that evil” territory.

Then the Flames drafted Tkachuk. His first game in the NHL, he slewfoots Brandon Davidson and essentially ends his career.

The scales fell from my eyes. Yes, they are that evil.

OriginalPouzar

After his shutout last night, Pickard get the night off tonight and Rodrigue starts.

Noone back from injury (Tulio, Bourgault, Malone) and add McKegg to the list.

An ECHL PPG guy named Mark Rassell makes his AHL debut and the Condors go 11/7

Per Holty

Reja

I hope this doesn’t effect the $750,000 we’re paying Treliving.

OriginalPouzar

Lucic is a healthy scratch tonight…..

Darryl8843

I guess Darryl finally realized the game has passed him by. That said I wonder if that’s ever happened to him before?

90s fan

At least 1 other time this season that i know of.

leadfarmer

You almost have to feel bad for the Krak. They have a collection of Campbells in net and Francis didn’t bother to address it at trade deadline

Scungilli Slushy

I feel bad for no competition as a group, I hope they suck

Individuals, yes

Darryl8843

Although a Flames victory helps us in a quest to win the Conference there is no part of me that can cheer for them. Go Stars Go and we will deal with our own business to win the Conference

Todd Macallan

Yep. This.

Tarkus

If you think the Falmes have a realistic chance of making playoffs–and their strength of schedule is much more favourable than the Preds’–then indeed Go Stars Go.

But if you have realistic hopes of the Oilers winning the division (or conference!), you could make a defensible case for Go Falmes Go…though you’d have to hold your nose whilst doing so.

It comes down to what matters more–the Oilers winning the division/conference, or Calgary missing the playoffs.

Also, you don’t want Calgary to lose so often that they fall into the bottom 11 (they’d pick 15th pre-lottery if the season ended right now) and have even a remote chance at getting Bedard.

In sum, I’m not against the Falmes getting whooped at any time; it’s just a little more nuanced than simply ABC.

Oh, and only a 2-point outcome tonight, por favor.

Darryl8843

I don’t think the Flames have any chance of making the playoffs. My point was I will never cheer for the Flames under any circumstance.

OriginalPouzar

If the Oilers needed a flames win in game 82 to make the playoffs, you wouldn’t hope for the flames to win that game?

Darryl8843

I grew up watching a hated rivalry of the Oil kings and Centennials in the 60’s in the old Gardens. Ever since in every sport the rivalry is real. So no I would not cheer for the Flames even in that scenario

Victoria Oil

Big time respect for you Darryl.

Reja

Those days are over we can handle our on fate.

leadfarmer

I think the Avs are gonna win that division. So we don’t have to think about the stars for quite some time

Scungilli Slushy

I prefer fLames

hunter1909

All in all a real Oilers game.

The kind of game they can show the Boys on the Bus and laugh out loud together at the loose defence with spectacular scoring on the other end.

MushedPeas

Ha. Called my dad with more or less that thought.

Darryl8843

I couldn’t help but think when we had 4 goals on 11 shots and leading 4-3. How many times have we been on the losing side in previous years. Nice to be on the winning side of that now.
Also a favourable schedule closing out the year and 4 games combined vs. LA and Vegas. The Division and Conference is right there for the taking

Last edited 1 year ago by Darryl8843
jp

Couldn’t watch today but just checked the highlights.

3 of those first 4 Oiler goals were of the ‘almost unstoppable’ variety.

I guess game flow wasn’t looking good for the Oilers, but it’s clear ’11 shots’ wasn’t close to a fair representation of the scoring chance quality they had to that point.

Walter Gretzkys Neighbour

Kane, McDavid, Draisaitl, Ekholm all with 3 points, Hyman with 2. And several key players with a point – spreading out the contributions. Another two points in the standings against a conference opponent.

OriginalPouzar

My goodness, to my eye, that was one of the Oilers worst played games of the season.

So sloppy with the puck and terrible positioning in the defensive zone – not to mention slower to almost every puck in the d-zone and losing most physical battle.

They got some puck luck in the defensive zone and took advantage of some poor Kraken tending (and made a few skilled plays).

That’s OK – if its a one-off. Good teams beat other teams when not at their best – that was tonight.

Now, at the same time, teams do tend to win games they shouldn’t near the end of a heater. I know that’s anecdotal but it really seems to happen.

Here is hoping its a one off and not coming down from a heater and getting cold with their structure play!

Darryl8843

I think just one of those days. We’re clearly better than we showed today

Scungilli Slushy

Agreed. Why I said 2 practice games coming up and then it’s ‘on’ to beat LA Kniggets and Avs

Yes that’s hard to do, BUT, any team with aspirations and who they have HAS to think that way, and have a deep commitment to getting nose to grindstone

So I think that way

Munny 2.0

My concern is that the next two opponents are exactly the type of games the Oilers like to daycation through. And one of those games is likely going to require starting the backup goalie. I don’t worry about them showing up for the big games so much. But these ones…

dangilitis

https://www.tankathon.com/nhl/remaining_schedule_strength

And with that, Edmonton officially with easiest remaining schedule. Not that it necessarily means anything if they don’t capitalize on the dregs, but hopefully they are all in playoff mode from here on

Tarkus

Interesting that their mock draft has the Oilers picking at #54 a current teammate of Shane Lachance.

Reja

They do have a fair and equity schedule coming up.

Scungilli Slushy

They play LA and Kniggets twice and Avs once. Not sure that’s the easiest

12 games left. But the others should be wins

Scungilli Slushy

I hope Connor can pot 8 more goals and take the lead for the 2000’s, goals in a season

Scungilli Slushy

2 more practice games (SJS and AC) and it’s on

Reja

I hope Dallas puts the hurt on those Godless Flames.

DevilsLettuce

I hope they both hurt eachother.

Brogan Rafferty's Uncle Steve

Amazing how skilled this team is. They throw out a dogshit effort and still pop six goals.

Scungilli Slushy

Win 2 each LA and Kniggets, one extra on each, first place

In the conference

Beat the Avs too. They’ll be driving hard to get there

Last edited 1 year ago by Scungilli Slushy
Scungilli Slushy

Ya that would be terrible wouldn’t it

hunter1909

Oilers last 16 game Season in a Season continues with a huge win today. Oilers are now 3-1-0

12 games left!

Now we can all sit back and watch the Stars v Flames upcoming fiasco as Calgary continues to see its feeble playoff dreams evaporate in a sea of Bettman points.

If you will enjoy watching Calgary lose tonight press: Thumbs Up.

If you prefer Dallas to lose to help Oilers final standings position press: Thumbs Down.

cowboy bill

That was a close one.

Munny 2.0

Connor: Ugly, ugly, ugly. I wasn’t too happy with our effort on defense tonight. We were horrible in front of Skinner but he made the saves and gave us a chance to win.

Durag

Win #22 for Skinner and he’s got a shot at 30.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may finally be looking at an Oiler who is winning the Calder.

DevilsLettuce

It’s going to cost a 3rd round pick

Reja

Your not winning a Calder which goes with out saying letting in 4 Goals a game

OriginalPouzar

I think he’s got a shot at being “nominated” which is top 3 in voting but I don’t think he has any realistic chance of winning it.

Reja

If he puts together 3 shutouts and 2-3 1 Goal games he migh enter the realistic conversation.

leadfarmer

The Calder competition is really weak this year. Probably Beniers takes it but if he falls off and Skinner keeps playing well he should get some consideration

OriginalPouzar

Yes, I think he gets consideration.

I don’t think he comes close to winning it unless he does rip off a bunch of shutouts, etc. down the stretch – doesn’t seem reasonably likely.

godot10

The Oilers need to win the division and conference.

theDjdj

well thankfully there’s no afternoon games in the playoffs. Scrappy win but a win no less. Great to see all the fellas that needed to get going get a goal. Kane rounding into form into the playoffs is a huge deal for Oil

OriginalPouzar

Oh, there are afternoon games in the playoffs

Gerta Rauss

Well, OK, it’s 2 points, but lots of room for improvement

Go Canucks and go Dallas

Admiral Ackbar

Yeah. This game really didn’t deserve to be 6-3. Yuck. And thank the hockey gords for one..

cowboy bill

It wasn’t. It was 6-4. LOL.

Admiral Ackbar
I know. That’s why I commented on it. 6-4 is closer to the reality of the game but even that flatters the oilers. But I’ll take it!
